Fans of Florida rapper Jahseh Onfroy's killer, known as XXXTentacion, lined up in front of the BB & T Center in mourning, offering the final words (June 27).

New details are emerging in the case of domestic abuse of the late rapper XXX Temptation.

The emerging rap star from South Florida, whose real name was Jahseh Onfroy, was was shot dead outside a motorcycle dealership during an apparent robbery in Deerfield Beach, Florida, on June 18, the Broward County Sheriff's Office told the United States. I was only 20 years old.

At the time of his death, XXXTentacion (pronounced: ex-ex-ex-ten-ta-see-YAWN) was awaiting trial on charges that included domestic assault, battery and false imprisonment against his pregnant girlfriend from 2016. (The rapper pleaded not guilty.

However, the XXXTentation apparently confesses the crimes in a secret recording, recently charged with profanity, that Pitchfork says he received from the Miami-Dade County District Attorney's office.

Pitchfork says the Miami-Dade County Public Prosecutor's office told them that the prosecution and the rapper's defense team considered the recording a confession, but the case was closed after the death of XXXTentacion.

In addition to threatening to "kill" his ex-girlfriend, the person on the tape apparently also admits other crimes.

"I'm in New York (Miami) for stabbing, how many people put on the news? They said three, there were eight," he boasted, referring to a 2016 incident in Deerfield Beach that Pitchfork reports has not yet been resolved. The acts of violence solidified his ex-girlfriend's fear in him: "She has seen this (expletive) … She knows it."

XXXTentacion began to gain widespread attention in early 2017 after loading its single "¡Mírame!" to Soundcloud. His album "17" landed at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and in March, the XXXTentacion album "?" He debuted at No. 1.

But the Florida native was a controversial figure and had many problems with the law.

According to the Miami New Times, the statements of his former Geneva Ayala "detail a pattern of regular and tortuous abuse that summer, with daily verbal attacks and physical incidents every three or four days."
