A French writer showed popular violence when he said he was unable to love a woman over the age of 50.
Yann Moix, 50, told a French magazine when he was asked to feel attracted to women older than him. In response, the author replies: "Come on, let's not overdo it! It's not possible … Too much, too old."
The author also told Marie-Claire who felt that women over fifty were so "invisible" to him.
"The body of a 25-year-old woman is extraordinary, the body of a 50-year-old woman is nothing extraordinary," she said, adding that she preferred Asian women, such as Korean, Chinese and Japanese.
The author also believes that it is "sad and discouraging for women," adding: "But the fact that Asians are a rich enough, large and infinite type for me becomes a reason not to be ashamed."
The statements caused some indignation in the French community.
