Whoopi Goldberg on Wednesday admitted the possibility of making inappropriate sexual comments to a minor, Neil Patrick Harris, and seemed to regret changes in sexual mores in American society that have made such behavior unacceptable.
In a recent appearance on "The View," actor Neil Patrick Harris claimed that during the filming of "The Heart of Clara," which was released in 1988 when Harris was 15, Whoopi Goldberg offered to have sex with him in the future.
"You know, I made my first movie with Whoopi Goldberg in a movie called 'The Heart of Clara', and we worked together on that," Harris recalled. "And she told me, she said, I was 15, 16 years old. She told me on my last day of filming that ten years, in ten years, she was going to have sex with me. "(RELATED: Whoopi gives Bill Clinton a head scratch and #MeToo: Hillary is the victim)
"I could have done it," Whoopi replied after an awkward pause, to which the audience responded with laughter.
"I had many questions as a child," explained Whoopi. "And then I said:" Listen, wait ten years, and I'll guide you. "
Whoopi continued reflecting: "Look, in those days you could have fun like that. You can not do that now. People get angry a lot now. "
Harris laughed, saying, "Hey, I was not offended, I'm looking forward to it."
Goldberg has been one of President Donald Trump's most outspoken critics, and recently received criticism for suggesting that Donald Trump, Jr.'s young children may have "tendencies" toward sexual assault.
