The long-awaited trailer for the unfortunate prime minister, starring Anupam Kher as former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, is out. The film crowns the life of politician economist Manmohan who served as India's PM from 2004-2014.
The movie has generated a lot of buzz because of the striking similarity of their characters with real-life colleagues. Kher has turned out to look like Manmohan and has adapted his manicures quite well.

In the film Akshaye Khanna Sanjaya Baru who was the media advisor of Manmohan Singh. It looks like Akshaye's character also plays the narrator in the movie as we see him breaking the fourth wall and interacting with viewers.
The film goes deep into the Congress Party's internal politics and how Manmohan Singh was in the middle of it.
While German actor Suzanne Bernert plays Sonia Gandhi, Aahana Kumara will be seen as Priyanka Gandhi. Arjun Mathur plays Rahul Gandhi in the Accident Minister. The film is helmed by debutant Vijay Ratnakar Gutte.
The film is based on Sanjay Baru's memoir of the same name that was released in 2014. Sanjaya Baru, the former PM's media advisor, had previously spoken to Indian Express about the memoir. He had said, "The book humanizes him. It brings him out as a human being. The younger generation today thinks of him as a kind of robot, a statue." Singh is King's image is gone. an object of ridicule, not admiration. I show him as a human being, I want him to be empathy for him. "
