"The live action remake of the classic animated movie came to life with its first trailer. Disney debuted the 90-second teaser on Thanksgiving. The clip opens with iconic images that became famous in the 1994 film.
James Earl Jones, who will repeat his role as the voice of Mufasa, is heard to narrate: "Everything that touches the light is our kingdom." The trailer then cuts a group of animals that include zebras, giraffes and elephants.
"But the time of a king as ruler rises and falls like the sun," Jones continues. "One day the sun will settle on my time here, and it will go out with you as the new king."
Then, fans can see Rafiki and little Simba in Pride Rock in the memorable scene from the original movie.

More than a year ago, Seth Rogen tweeted A photo of the cast and the voices that would play.
Rogen told Entertainment Tonight in July about working with the star-studded cast.
"It is exciting!" he said. "One is because I'm a big fan of" The Lion King. "Two is because it's the most expensive movie I probably have something to do with, so it's exciting."
