The London National Theater will now be under the Duchess of Sussex after a decision where the Queen wanted to trust the nephew's wife, according to Harper's Bazaar.
In fact, in December, Meghan Markle had a private meeting with the Institute's director, Rufus Norris, to discuss future projects.
As a royal patron of London's theater, the Duchess of Sussex will strengthen relations with US institutions. The Queen's election is no coincidence, as Meghan Markle studied theater at Northwestern University and has contacts in the US industry after playing for seven years in the "Suits" series.
Since joining the British royal family, Meghan Markle has shown her interest in the artistic field projects – she has participated with her husband in a scene of Hamilton's musical charity and, before Christmas, visited Brinsworth House alone, a home for entertainment industry veterans in the UK.
This is the first message to the Duchess of Sussex and comes eight months after the wedding with Prince Harry, to whom he will give children this spring.
Her colleague, Duchess of Cambridge, who officially entered the British royal family in 2011, received her first message six months after marriage with Prince William. Since then, Kate Middleton has come to fight various institutions, including museums and charities dedicated to children.
