Meghan Markle has only been a duchess for six months, but has already broken more rules than most members of the royal family throughout her life.
From wearing shorter hems to holding hands with her husband, Prince Harry in the pubis, the Duchess of Sussex is not afraid to do things her way.
Meghan's individual streak has extended to her public commitments, with a new documentary that reveals that she likes to write her own speeches in contrast to the actual protocol.

Normally, members of the royal family will write speeches with the help of assistants and palace staff.
The only time a member of royalty writes his own speeches is when Queen Elizabeth gives her annual Christmas address on the year.

The documentary also revealed how Meghan's handwritten speeches often agreed to be controversial because of the subject.

Sources told the Daily mail Meghan wakes up at 5 am and sends messages to her aides up to seven times a day with ideas on how to set up her role.
