The cause of the death of reality star Lyric McHenry has been revealed almost three months after she was found unconscious on a sidewalk in the New York Bronx area and then died.
McHenry, who reportedly was 20 weeks pregnant at the time of her death, died of an overdose of cocaine, alcohol and heroin, according to an affidavit obtained by E! News.
The agency also reported that a 29-year-old man named Alexis Meija-Ramírez was allegedly arrested and accused of hiding a human corpse and manipulating physical evidence.
Meija-Ramirez and "two other male individuals" allegedly transported McHenry's body on the Major Deegan Highway in the Bronx neighborhood. The police came to this discovery with the help of surveillance images and interviews with witnesses.
While a lawyer for Meija-Ramírez could not be contacted by PEOPLE, E! The news reported that he is currently on bail.
The Bronx District Attorney's Office did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comments.
McHenry's death came hours after he celebrated his 26th birthday during a night with friends. In the videos published in her Instagram story, McHenry was at The Frederick Hotel, Soho Grand Hotel and Dream Hotel, and filmed a smiling video of her in a bathroom in a pink dress.
It was found on a sidewalk at 5 a.m. August 14 on the Major Deegan Highway on Undercliff Avenue and Boscobel Place in Highbridge, in the Bronx area of New York, according to the Daily news of New York.
She was found wearing only pajamas and underwear, but no pants, the Daily mail reported According to the Daily News, a small Ziplock bag of cocaine was found in McHenry.
After being found, she was taken to the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, where she died.
One day after the death of the former reality star, her family spoke.
"The McHenry Family deeply appreciates the many supportive communications from Lyric's many friends upon hearing of his untimely death at approximately 6:00 a.m. on the morning of August 14, 2018," the family told PEOPLE in a statement.
