Sony Pictures has come out with two Marvel films for 2020: a Sony-Marvel untitled project is scheduled for July 10, 2020, followed by a Sony-Marvel sequel untitled for October 2, 2020. Although Sony He did not provide more details, we can unite what those two films will be of what we already know. The first is probably Morbius, starring Jared Leto, as producers Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach revealed in October that it would be the next Spider-Man split. And as the second says "sequel," it's very likely that it's Venom 2. If you're thinking why it can not be a Spider-Man movie, it's because there's already one in 2019, Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Filming is expected to begin in Morbius in early 2019, possibly in February, Arad said last month. Swedish filmmaker Daniel Espinosa (Life) directs the adaptation of Morbius the Living Vampire, written by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama (Lost in Space). Morbius will be Leto's second comic book character, who previously played the Joker at the 2016 Suicide Squad and has a contract with Warner Bros.-DC for more appearances.

As for the sequel to Venom, although the first was criticized by critics (it has a rating of 29 percent in Rotten Tomatoes), it has been a financial success for Sony Pictures. Venom has raised $ 780 million (approximately Rs.5,550 crore) at the global box office, with more than $ 200 million coming from China. Venom 2 also has the advantage of [spoiler alert] featuring another iconic villain from Spider-Man in Carnage (Woody Harrelson), who was teased in a post-credits scene with Venom.

Most likely, Morbius will debut on July 10, 2020, while Venom 2 will hit theaters on October 2, 2020. Sony Pictures is also actively developing other Spider-Man-based films based on Silver Sable, Black Cat and Silk. . All these films are part of Sony's Marvel universe, which shares Tom Holland as the new Spiderman, but has no connection to other Marvel Studios movies.
