Ariana Grande plays her hit "God Is a Woman", backed by an orchestra and a women's choir in a clip of the upcoming BBC special concert dedicated to the Sweetener singer.
"It's a dream come true," Grande told the BBC about the performance supported by the orchestra. "The strings are like my favorite thing in the whole world … I'm ruined now, I can not go back!"
Ariana Grande: live on the BBC premieres on the British network on Thursday, November 1; The television special was filmed on September 7. People Reports, the same day that his ex-boyfriend Mac Miller died of an apparent overdose, an incident that led Grande to cancel a handful of live appearances.
However, the performance of the special and the corresponding interview apparently took place before Grande learned of Miller's death. The concert of 13 songs of the BBC featured the performance of Grande and the orchestra of women who played eight. Sweetener tracks along with "Dangerous Woman", "Love Me Harder" and his version of "Changes" by Thundercat.
Earlier this week, Grande revealed plans to embark on a Sweetener World Tour starting in March 2019.
