Tekashi 6ix9ine (real name Daniel Hernández) was scheduled to release a new album, Simulated child, later this week. Now, it has been announced through your Instagram account that the launch has been postponed. "Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have postponed the release of Tekashi 6ix9ine Simulated child Until further notice, "says the post.
The list of songs from the album released last week included two songs with Kanye West, one of which also includes Nicki Minaj. In her own publication on Instagram, Nicki declared that the 6ix9ine album was suspended by "the record company" and added: "Danny, I love you and I pray for you, your mother, daughter and mother during this time". (6ix9ine is signed with TenThousand Projects, a record label founded by Elliot Grainge, son of Universal Music Group CEO, Lucian Grainge).
On November 18, Hernandez was arrested and charged with federal crimes, including extortion charges and firearms. Two of those charges see him face the maximum penalty of life imprisonment. Hernandez was denied bail after the presiding judge ruled that he represented a danger to the community. He is currently being held in a detention center in Brooklyn.
