Emmy-winning actress Peggy McCay, who played Caroline Brady in Days of our lives For more than three decades, he died on Sunday of natural causes. She was 90 years old.

Days veterinarian Stephen Nichols, who played Patch on McCay's screen, paid tribute to his fellow cast member on Instagram. "The last time I saw you, you told me how anxious I was to get back to work," he wrote. "You said it with such conviction and longing. Do not worry, you gave the world a lot. He gave his audiences inspired performances and his fellow actors his strength and inspiration and absolute love for work. I'll miss you sweet, Peggy. I am very grateful for the time I spent with you. Sending love to your loved ones. Rest in peace."
