"Bird Box" increased to record heights on Netflix, as more than 45 million people looked at the thriller starred Sandra Bullock during its first week, ETOnline reported.

The drama debuted on the steaming service on December 21, and the company said the movie set a Netflix record for most viewers in its first week.
Netflix usually doesn't show statistics, but the company felt compelled to share the movie's figures Twitter.
"Went out of my blindfold this morning to discover that 45,037,125 Netflix accounts have already seen Bird Box – best first 7 days ever for a Netflix movie!" Netflix tweeted, shows a GIF of Bullock who takes off her blindfold and mouths the words, "Oh my God."

In "Bird Box", Bullock stars as the mother of two children wandering the blindfold through deadly terrain, trying to find sanctuary while at risk of every turn, ETOnline reported.
