A love story based on history
The glass room is an adaptation of Simon Maver's novel, which maps the history of Czechoslovakia in the 20th century, and at the same time explains love stories about the three figures that lived in the Tugendhat villa in Brno for ten years. "Inspiration was classic films like the English patient and conceptual love stories like Creation for Love. The glass room is a miniature of a love story based on history," explains director Julius Sevcik.
A film about people who left the crowd
The film's main heroes, who tell the story of love, friendship and lifelong choices, are Liesel Landauer and her friend Hana.
