If Duchess Meghan's royal family hopes Duchess Meghan's family will move away from the spotlight, we might suggest that they avoid tuning in to "The Real World."
Meghan's nephew, Tyler Dooley, is part of the cast of a new reality show that will hit MTV on November 7. The program focuses on royalty and aristocrats, who meet together in the English countryside. The cast includes a triple baroness and the son of a Nigerian chief.
While Dooley has no title, he is the son of Meghan's stepbrother, Thomas Markle Jr.
"I think I represent more than the average person who could be watching this program," Dooley said in a promotional video for the new program.
"I would say we had a kind of humble beginnings," he said describing his childhood in L.A., "more than trial and error, that includes Meghan."
Apart from his foray into reality television, Dooley is also the founder of Royally Grown, which sells grass and "lifestyle products", according to Your site that is under construction. Clearly taking advantage of her aunt's new royal status, Dooley also sells a variety of marijuana called "Markle Sparkle," a nod to Meghan's maiden name.
Dooley says that in the video he did not see the royal wedding, but he was in London "to support my aunt Meghan, honestly, with the controversy that happened with my family, all I wanted to do was show my support".
We are going to raise a
glass attached to that feeling?
USA TODAY approached the Kensington Palace, which declined to comment.
