Justin Bieber marked his first Thanksgiving as a married man, saying that "love is not always easy", but added that he tried, like Jesus Christ, to be more patient and disinterested.
The 24-year-old Canadian pop singer, who married model Hailey Baldwin in a clandestine ceremony in September, told her 102 million Instagram followers that Thursday's Thanksgiving holiday in the United States was the first He received.
"First, thanksgiving as a married man, for the first time as a thanksgiving host," Bieber wrote in a publication.
"Relationships are difficult and love is not always easy, but thank you Jesus for showing me how! Every day is a learning process, trying to be more like him, patient, kind, selfless, boy, I have come a long way! But gods [sic] Grace is enough! "He added.
Bieber and Baldwin attend the evangelical church of Hillsong, which was founded in Australia in 1983 and now has branches around the world with a large number of young followers.
Bieber found fame as a 15-year-old baby-faced baby, but has had repeated friction with the law during a tumultuous reign as one of pop's biggest stars.
Baldwin unofficially confirmed the couple's marriage in comments on social networks last week when the singer called Baldwin "my wife" and the model changed his name from Instagram to Hailey Bieber.
Thursday was also his 22nd birthday, which Bieber's mother, Patti Mallette, marked with an Instagram story that showed her son singing happy birthday and delivering a cake to his wife.
"¡MUCH THANKS for having you as a daughter !!!", added Mallette on Twitter.
