Toronto police say the man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was stabbed at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto on Tuesday night, where a fight broke out during a performance by American rap artist Pusha T.

The video that circulates on social networks seems to show a fight between several people after the fans threw liquid to the rapper while he was on stage.

Police initially said that three people were taken to the hospital with injuries that did not threaten their lives. Authorities confirmed Wednesday that another victim went to the hospital with stabs.

Police did not say whether the man's injuries were sustained during the fight.

Pusha T responded to the incident in a tweet after the concert saying he was not assaulted on stage.

"Do not spread these lies! [sic] no to Pusha, do not punish me on stage, "said the tweet.

Danforth Avenue closed between Broadview Avenue and Playter Boulevard, before reopening about 45 minutes later.
No one was arrested.

Pusha T has been involved in a fight with Toronto rapper Drake.
Earlier this year, the Virginia-born rapper released a song called Infrared that accused Drake of using a ghostwriter to create his songs.

Drake responded by launching his own track, Duppy Freestyle that shot Pusha T.
