Madonna spends Thanksgiving with the people who matter most to her.
On Thursday, the legendary singer "Like a Virgin", 60, shared a rare Instagram image of her six children: Lourdes, Rocco, David, Mercy and the twins Estere and Stella, together while the family spends holidays in Malawi .
Madonna shares Lourdes with her ex-boyfriend Carlos León, had Rocco with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie and adopted David, Mercy, Estere and Stella from Malawi in 2006, 2007 and 2017, respectively.
"So I am more GRATEFUL!" Madonna subtitled the sweet snapshot. "My children have taken me on roads and opened doors that I never imagined would happen."
"Fame, fortune and broken records could never match what I treasure and value the most," he added, including hashtags #gressed, #grateful, #children and #family. "Happy Thanksgiving from Malawi!"
Madonna, who founded the charity Raising Malawi in 2006, has returned to the nation repeatedly over the years. In July 2016, Madonna and her children stopped at the orphanages where David and Mercy lived.
In July 2017, Madonna, Rocco, David, Mercy and the twins traveled to Malawi for the opening of the Mercy James Institute of Pediatric Surgery and Intensive Care at Queen Central Hospital, which funded Raising Malawi.
In July 2018, Madonna and the six children visited the hospital to celebrate their first anniversary.
