Cardi B and Lil Yachty definitely play for the same team. In an interview with Raquel Harper from TMZ on her BET show late at night. Raq Rants, Yachty explained that he is totally on the side of Cardi B when it comes to his problem with Nicki Minaj.
"Every time," he emphasized.
The Quality Control signer admitted that he would reject an offer to collaborate with Nicki Minaj for Cardi, which has a management agreement with QC. "I could not," he said, referring to a hypothetical collaboration. "As much as I want."
Yachty is not only loyal to Cardi, but to her husband Offset. "You know that Offset is my big brother," Lil Boat said when asked about his song "Who wants the smoke?" With rapper Migos and Cardi.
On Monday night, Cardi went on Instagram to post a commentary on 10 articles about Onika, exposing the alleged lies of his rival. Minaj then asked for a truce on Twitter. "Let's focus on positive things only from now on," Nicki wrote on Twitter, after her dramatic program on Radio Queen that same day.
Cardi seemed to accept Nicki's truce. "Let's keep it positive and keep pushing!", Wrote in IG.
It is not clear if things are really arranged between these two, but if so, Yachty can get to collaborate with Minaj after all.
