The clothing line debuted at an event in Washington attended by young black conservatives.
Kanye West has designed a clothing line for the "Blexit" campaign, which encourages African-American voters to leave the Democratic Party.
The line of shirts and hats that support "Blexit", a pun on the nickname of the British exit from the European Union, debuted on Saturday at the Black Youth Summit of Turning Point USA, an event in Washington attended by young Africans. The American conservatives, according to page six.
"Blexit is a renaissance, and I'm lucky to say that this logo, these colors, were created by my dear friend and superhero Kanye West," said communications director Turning Point USA. Candace Owens He told page six.
The rapper "has taken one of the boldest steps in the United States to start a conversation we need to have," Owens added.
West did not attend the event.
The clothes show the group's motto, "We Free", or the word "Blexit", and the description of each item says "Kanye West Design".
According to its website, Blexit "is a frequency for those who have freed themselves from political orthodoxy, it is a rebellion led by Americans who wish to interrupt the simulation of fear, Blexit is a rebirth, it is our formal declaration of independence."
West has made headlines, and has generated violent reactions, recently for his meeting and the support of President Trump. He has used a hat with the slogan of the Trump campaign, "Make America Great Again", many times, even during a recent appearance in Saturday night live.
