Talk about "heaven", they are hooked!
Kane Brown married his girlfriend, music management student and singer Katelyn Jae, on Friday night outside of Nashville, confirming PEOPLE exclusively.
Before the ceremony, held in front of some 200 friends and family, the singer of "Lose It", 24 years old, told PEOPLE that he was anxious to "officially marry my best friend".
The couple's pastor officiated, while his wedding party was comprised of family members (both brothers of Jae), bandmates (Brown's guitarist, Alex Anthony) and friends, including singer-songwriter Taylor Phillips.
Instead of the handwritten votes, "we decided to exchange letters between us earlier in the day and keep the actual votes a bit more traditional," they said.
To go to the altar, the bride opted for a classic dress, which she called "simple, comfortable and discreet, but with a kick". Adds Jae, 26: "I went to some bridal shops and this was probably the fourth dress. I tried. I loved everything about it. I did not want a ton of extra cloth; I wanted something elegant and simple and this fits perfectly. "
Brown, who, along with his groomsmen, was designed by David Thomas, wore a Lanvin suit for the occasion.

The newlyweds were married at the Mint Springs farm in Franklin, Tennessee. The exuberant space for events lent itself perfectly to the vibe the couple sought, "like an enchanted forest", with a palette of green colors and autumnal colors.
"We wanted something here in Nashville and we loved the idea of having it at home and not traveling since we are on the road so much," the two said about the wedding venue and the reception, where they served salmon and barbecue chicken. "It's not too rural, but it has many elements of nature: a huge lake, hills, trees, it's just beautiful out there."
After the wedding, the couple will head to their honeymoon for a bit of R & R.
"We chose a place we love and we can just relax completely and spend some time appreciating nature, and no cellular service!" They said.

Brown spontaneously proposed to Jae on Easter Sunday 2017 while they watched The horror of Amityville, a film about newlyweds moving into a house where a mass murder has been committed. "I just could not wait," he later told People, to ask the question.
The country artist burst in 2015 with his first single "Used to Love You Sober" and made history in Nashville with his Lauren Alaina duo 2017 "What Ifs" – from his self-titled debut album – both of which made him the first artist to overcome the five Billboard Letters of the country.

Despite busy schedules, Brown and Jae make time to foster their relationship.
"We prioritize the time together and make sure we have as normal as possible with night nights and nights at home with our dogs," they told PEOPLE. "And we appreciate each other very much and respect each of our careers and the time to do their thing too. We love each other, but we are also friends, it is very important to have that balance ".
