Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith have one of the most enduring relationships in Hollywood, but upon hearing them say that the day of their wedding was "horrible".

In the latest episode of Jada's Facebook Watch chat show, "Red Table Talk," the couple talks about the ups and downs of their nearly 21-year marriage, with Jada's mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and the couple's daughter , Willow Smith. , 17, sitting on.

Jada revealed that she was not ready to marry Will, but she felt pressured because she was three months pregnant with her son, Jaden, who is now 20 years old.

"I was so upset that I had to get married, I was so angry, I was crying in the damn hall marrying me," he recalled.

"It was a disaster," Banfield-Norris recalled to laughter. "Jada was sick, it was very unpleasant."

Of course, getting to the altar was not an easy task for the couple.

Although Will felt a "magical" energy the first time he saw Jada in an episode of "A Different World", fate kept them apart for a while. Will actually went to a recording of the show to meet Jada, but the "Cool Prince of Bel-Air" star ended up sticking with another woman, his future first wife, Sheree Zampino.

When Will and Jada finally met, their connection was undeniable, but by then Will was a married man with a young son, Trey, who is now 25 years old.

The star of "Men In Black" remembered breaking into tears one night in a restaurant bathroom while thinking of Jada. "I knew it was the woman I was supposed to be with," he said. But, he strongly opposed the divorce.

Later, Zampino blinded Will by asking for a divorce, which freed Will to start an affair with the woman he had been sighing for.

Throughout their marriage, the couple has experienced difficult times, especially when Jada turned 40 and found it difficult to maintain the "perfect" personality that Will demanded. "I can not do this anymore," he recalled thinking at that moment.

Will, who grew up watching his father beat his mother, said he realized that his desire to have a perfect family home was what caused Jada to "sacrifice" her own happiness.

"Jada is an actress, but she had two babies, she had to be at home to raise her babies while I had to do everything I wanted to do, she was sacrificing to fit my picture," she explained.
