Everyone loves a good Hollywood brawl, even if it's not exactly real.
Hugh Jackman took the opportunity at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, where he was honored, to take a chance against John Krasinski and Ryan Reynolds, who joined him on social media over the weekend after a picture of Jackman flirting with Krasinski. Wife Emily Blunt at Variety's "Actors on Actors" event came online.
"You have to be alert, John," joked Jackman for Variety Monday night "That's all I'm saying".
He then added that he would have no problem facing Krasinski in a physical altercation if that were the case.
"I'm fine to fight with John, but he arrived at my door this morning with Ryan," he explained. "I'm like," Come on, guys, one at a time, not together. "
Jackman admitted that he might have acquired a taste for agitation.
"I'm really creating all these fights," he said. "The image of this good boy is over."
The initial dispute occurred when the "Front Runner" star tweeted a photo of himself with Blunt praising their conversation together for "Actors on Actors."
Krasinksi responded with another photo of the couple, in which Jackman was probably speaking in Blunt's ear, and wrote: "Eeeeeeasy Hugh … I'm not sure this is what @Variety meant with # ActorsonActors … I do not make me believe that I can hurt you. "
Reynolds then piled himself up, and tweeted: "This is a call to action. This man must be stopped.
Jackman and Reynolds, at least, have a history of being in line with each other. The couple, who both play characters in the Marvel / X-Men universe such as Wolverine and Deadpool, have repeatedly engaged in a good-faith blur in an imitation of their on-screen characters. Evidently, Krasinski has entered the fray.
