Heather Locklear has reportedly been placed in a 5150 psychiatric warehouse.

On Sunday, the Melrose place The star was at home when his therapist determined he was having another mental crisis, reports TMZ. After someone made a 911 call to her residence, the emergency medical technicians arrived at her home and took her to the hospital.

The call for involuntary psychiatric detention was a health precaution for Locklear, the media reports.

"The deputies responded to Mrs. Locklear's house regarding a medical call," the sergeant. Eric Buschow of the Ventura County Sheriff's Office tells PEOPLE. "There was no crime."

A representative of Locklear, 57, did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comments.

The actress was arrested in June after she allegedly attacked the police officer and EMT who responded to a disturbance call at her residence. The police told PEOPLE that Locklear was "extremely intoxicated" and "arguing with friends and family" when they arrived.

Hours after she was released from police custody, Locklear was hospitalized for a possible overdose.

The respondents were also previously sent to the Locklear house a week before, after they received a call from the sheriff's office for a "suicidal" person who was "violent," according to an incident report from the Fire Department Ventura County obtained by PEOPLE.

Locklear was taken to a hospital for a psychological evaluation, TMZ reported.

Later, he was charged with a battery charge on a police officer, a battery charge on an EMT and a charge of resistance, obstruction or delay by a police officer.

In July, PEOPLE confirmed that the actress was seeking long-term treatment for substance abuse and her mental health.

Around the date of his 57th birthday in September, a source told PEOPLE that he was still on the premises and that he was improving.

"She is still there and she is doing really well," said the source.

A source previously told PEOPLE that Locklear was scheduled to remain at the facility until September and that doctors would reassess from there.

That same month, she won a sincere tribute to Instagram after losing a friend for addiction.

"The addiction is fierce and will try to bring you down," the note says. "Recovery is the best revenge. Be kind to everyone you meet, your light could change your path. Rest in peace beautiful Josh. You touched my [heart]. "
