WWE still has important creative plans for SmackDown commissioner Shane McMahon to enter the WrestleMania 35 season.
There are plans for Shane to experience a change of character during the first quarter of 2019, according to the Wrestling Observer newsletter. It is not yet known exactly what they have planned, but this will be linked to the victory of the Shane World Cup tournament in Crown Jewel and Team SmackDown, who will lose all their matches in the main pay-per-view card of the Survivor Series. .
Changing Shane's character will probably be a configuration for his battle at WrestleMania 35.
As we've noticed, the original plan was for Shane to face Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35, but that plan was probably changed when they made the decision to put the WWE Title on Bryan. WWE was still joking with Shane against Bryan just before the title win in the recent SmackDown episode, but Shane versus Bryan is no longer an address for WrestleMania. It was believed that Shane's planned turn with the World Cup victory led to the WrestleMania match with Bryan.
It was also believed that Shane's heel spin had fallen off, but it would be interesting to see if they continue with the turnaround now that they still have plans for a change of character for the SmackDown Commissioner. It is not yet known what WWE has planned for the new story with Shane and The Miz that started on SmackDown this week, but it seems possible a Miz vs. Miz fight. McMahon
