Golden Globes 2019: Winners and nominees

MWith three awards, the tragicomedy "Green Book" is the big winner of the evening. She won the Best Comedy Award, among others, and actress Mahershala Ali won the best supporting actor – for the second time in a row.

"Bohemian Rhapsody" has been honored at the Golden Globes as the best movie drama. The music film about the Queen won at the award ceremony in Beverly Hills and the trophies of the best actor. Rami Malik was honored for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury. Glenn Close won the best actor award for the drama "The Wife".

Also Mexican director Alfonso Cuarón is one of the winners of the award. For his produced by streaming service Netflix work "Rome" he was awarded the Best Foreign Language Film Award. He ruled, among other things, against the German director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, who had entered his film "work without author" in the race. In addition, Cuarón was awarded as best director.

In the series division, the comedy "Kominsky Method" and the miniseries "The Assassination of Gianni Versace" received two prizes each. The best drama series was "Americans".
