Targeted by a complaint for rape filed this summer by an actress, Gerard Depardieu was heard Tuesday, November 27, by the Paris police. The meeting was held open and the actor was not put to custody. The Paris police investigators wanted to hear him on the rape act made by the young woman.
On August 27, a 20-year-old actress sent a complaint with the gendarmerie to Lambesc in Bouches-du-Rhône. In this complaint, She accuses Gérard Depardieu of raping her and sexually assaulting him at home, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, twice Tuesday 7 and Monday 12th of August. The young woman explains that Gerard Depardieu was a friend of her father and that she rubbed her shoulders for a project they had in common.
Gérard Depardieu has always formally contested these charges. His lawyer, Hervé Témime, gave extreme caution on August 30 and said he was convinced that "the complaint would not thrive at the legal level".
An expected hearing
After the complaint was filed in the south, the parquet floor in Paris had finally inherited the case and left the investigation to the Paris police. The young woman has been heard by investigators in recent weeks to make him clear his first statements. Nothing has filtered from this audition.
On Tuesday, November 27th, it was logical for Gérard Depardieu to be invited to explain this matter. Expected, this consultation is an important step. It is now the accusation of Paris that determines the follow-up to giving this case.
