The British stars of WWE are returning to where it all started for the first time at NXT UK: TakeOver pay-per-view.
The US company launched the division with the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament in Blackpool in January 2017.
The two-day event at the famous Empress Ballroom saw Tyler Bate of Dudley crowned inaugural champion of WWE UK.
And his success saw the creation of a new brand, NXT UK, with new episodes broadcast every Wednesday at 8 pm on WWE Network.
Mirror Sport can now reveal that the sports entertainment giant is ready to return to the same place for a great weekend of action in the ring.
The NXT TakeOver shows are the talk of the wrestling world and next year the company's list in the UK will have its own version.
Fans from around the world will be tuned in to watch NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool live from the historic venue on Saturday, January 12.
The WWE Network special will be followed by a day of television recordings in the building with capacity for 3,000 people on Sunday, January 13.
The legendary superstar Triple H, also known as WWE star Paul Levesque, broke the news in a video ad on the NXT UK recordings in Liverpool.
Speaking at this last hour, the executive vice president of talent, live and creative events of the company blew the roof of the Liverpool Olympia.
He said: "Two years ago, we told you that we were coming to the United Kingdom to help you build your empire.
"Well, you've done it, because we're here today." NXT UK is one of the most popular brands on the planet, thanks to you.
"You have made this a success in all areas, the reaction to this has been off the table."
"Everyone's talent is asking to come to NXT UK, because it's one of the most important things that this industry has seen.
"We're going back to where it all started: Blackpool."
The champion of the WWE in the United Kingdom, Pete Dunne, will be accompanied by Mark Andrews, Zack Gibson, Rhea Ripley, Toni Storm, Trent Seven, Tyler Bate and Wolfgang.
Tickets will go on sale for both NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool and the television recordings the next day at 10 am on Monday, November 26.
