The quest for Boxing Day is a tradition in the British royal family. Duchess Kate is also in the party. It seems she has been waiting to shoot until her critical son-in-law Meghan left.
Many use Christmas Eve to recover from the festive bustle, others meet friends or continue to enjoy their laid-back time in their home country. In the British royal house, it is more exciting: "Boxing Day" is traditionally hunting day! There are pheasants, partridges and ducks shot, and Prince Harry (34) and his brother William (36) are from an early age shooters. But the graceful Kate (36) also joins the hunt every year with joy. Only Duchess Meghan (34) leaves the land estate in Sandringham before the Great Hunt.
And for a good reason: The elegant Meghan is an avowed animal rights activist and strictly against the animal's hunt. There were even rumors that Prince Harry's wife had forbidden him to shoot. These were denied shortly afterwards, however. Harry just can't stop it!
In the video above you can see how the Duchess of Cambridge surprises the fans in front of Buckingham Palace.
