Disney's Night of & # 39; Dancing with the Stars & # 39; It ends in a shocking elimination turn!

adminOctober 23, 2018

Get ready for a magical night of spectacular dances!

Season 27 of Dancing with the stars continues in its fifth week with Disney Night on Monday, with the remaining nine participants and their professional partners, all performing in a song inspired by a Disney movie.

In addition, the night will also feature the presence of Andrea Bocelli and Matteo Bocelli, who will sing "Fall on Me" next time The nutcracker and the four kingdoms, together with a performance of DWTS: Juniors the host Jordan Fisher, the mini dance professionals and the stars Ariana Greenblatt and Jason Maybaum.

ET will be blogging live all the action in the ballroom, so be sure to follow us here on Twitter (@tnow) and in our Facebook group Beyond the Ballroom while we analyze all the most important dances, the best scores and the most memorable moments of the night.

And the couple that goes home is …

7:00 PM:

At the end of the night, the two couples who were in danger were, surprisingly, DeMarcus and Alexis.

After a sigh from the audience, Tom Bergeron extended the elimination for a long time before revealing that no one was going home tonight.

After all, it's Disney Night, so there has to be a happy ending! We will have to wait until next week for the bloodbath (because there is almost certainly a double elimination, which is appropriate for the Halloween night of the program).

Milo and Witney are simply amazing

6:57 p.m.

Milo and Witney wore tight-fitting superhero costumes for their fast pace, set in "Incredits 2" The Incredibles 2 Final credits – and the dance was deliciously weird and fun.

To kick the number, the couple, dressed as Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl, rescued Tom Bergeron from a cage, only to be joined by some DWTS professionals: Juniors at the end, who played their super children, Violet. and Dash.

While Len had some problems with the body contact of the couple, due to the spandex, Carrie Ann and Bruno loved the dance, and the latter even gave them a coveted "10", for a total score of 28 out of 30.

Bobby and Sharna explore the majesty of & # 39; The Little Mermaid & # 39;

6:47 PM:

A week after the bad reception of Bobby Bones, M.C. Hammer dance, the star of the radio returned to the stage with an elegant waltz, put on "Part of your world" of The little Mermaid – and it was very far from his previous performance.

Bobby played Prince Eric, while Sharna played the Ariel, perhaps, the most unimaginable the world has seen.

The dazzling professional wore a beautiful mermaid green skirt that worked perfectly, transforming it into the Little Mermaid, allowing her to concentrate on the routine and avoiding the evil marine witches, which is always ideal.

After the dance, Bobby remained in his posture of Prince Eric during the judges' feedback, instead of running around the dance floor like a maniac, because Sharna hit him again and again during the week of rehearsal.

The dance earned the couple a score of 21 out of 30.

The fast pace of John Schneider is challenging

6:36 p.m.

In the pre-recorded package before his routine, John, 58, focused heavily on the challenging pace of fast-paced, signaling his age as a problem.

However, when he hit the ground with Emma Slater, he did not seem to have as many problems as he predicted when it came to dancing a quick step for "I Wan & # 39; na Be Like You" by The book of the jungle.

Swinging a tuxedo with a golden and black zebra print, the Dukes of hazzard The stars looked like a million dollars and they did not seem at all disconsolate when he and Emma approached the opinion of the judges.

Both Carrie Ann and Len said the number was John's best performance to date, and they all complied with the amount of traditional fast-forward content in the number.

With a score of 24 out of 30, the dance ended up being the best of the season so far, showing how much he is growing as a dancer.

Jordan Fisher gets a lot of air time

6:29 PM:

Do not get me wrong, it's great to see Jordan again at the DWTS Stage after winning season 25, but the talented singer has got two numbers of music tonight, including the dazzling grand opening!

While it seems that everything is just a complement to DWTS: Juniors (that Fisher is the host), it's fun to watch him perform with junior professionals.

Mary Lou Busts of a sword

6:22 PM:

Mary Lou and Sasha were responsible for carrying out a contemporary routine established in "Reflection" of Mulan, and it was a really beautiful performance that ended with the former Olympian crying tears of joy.

However, he started a little uncomfortable when, in what felt like an effort to stick to the Mulan Story too close, Mary Lou came out with a massive sword and everything felt out of place.

Considering the fact that the sword did not really play a role in the number, the beginning was a bit silly.

However, she managed to overcome that with the rest of the dance, where she showed her grace and her gentle elegance.

Len delivered one of the best compliments he could physically make when he called the dance "competent", and the rest of the judges seemed to appreciate it too. The pair won 25 of 30, which makes it the best performance of the season.

Andrea and Matteo Bocelli classify the joint

6:13 p.m.

The iconic singer and his talented son played grand pianos as DWTS the members of the company danced their song "Fall on Me", from the next epic Disney fantasy movie, The Nutcracker and the Four Kingdoms.

The moment was a peaceful respite from the chaos and excitement of regular competition on the show, and the magnificent melody could have made me want to see. The Nutcracker more than any other trailer they have released so far.

& # 39; Joe's Grocery Store # 39; and Jenna Break & # 39; DWTS & # 39;

5:59 PM:

Each night of Disney, there is always a performance that serves mainly as a complement to an upcoming Disney movie. This season, it's Ralph breaks the internet, and gave the performance of almost product placement to Joe and Jenna.

In the pre-recorded package, it's clear that Joe was really disappointed by last week's scores, and he managed to remind people how much fun it is with his trip to Disneyland.

Everything that was said, when it came time for your jive – set to "Zero" by Imagine Dragons outside of Ralph breaks the internet Soundtrack: It seemed that Joe was actually trying to prove that he is growing as a dancer.

While there were probably a million different ways they could have gone to make the dance fun or ridiculous, the star really tried to prove that she deserves a place in the cast.

Bruno said the dance was a "baby step" in the right direction, while Carrie Ann went further with her praise and called it a "great improvement" and praised her confidence in the dances of recent weeks.

The pair ended up getting a score of 17 out of 30, which is higher than their score from last week, but still puts them in a last place distant in the leaderboard.

Evanna and Keo avoid getting entangled

5:50 p.m.

Last week, Evanna and Keo were in danger after getting some really impressive scores, so obviously it's hard to find motivation to perform well when it almost seems like it does not matter.

However, when the couple went to the dance floor for their jazz routine, he adjusted to "When will my life begin?" since Tangled upThey still gave their all and their hearts danced.

The beautiful number starred Evanna as Rapunzel, and the radiant and enthusiastic actress was the perfect incarnation of the beloved Disney princess.

Meanwhile, Keo fit in perfectly with the roguish Flynn Rider and both managed the dance with grace and elegance.

While the judges discussed some technical aspects of the routine, the couple scored 24 out of 30, the same score they had when they almost eliminated us last week. The question now is whether it will be good enough to keep them out of the cut block this time.

Evanna and Keo roller coaster adventure

5:44 PM:

In their pre-recorded package, Evanna and Keo headed to Disneyland and took a ride on Big Thunder Mountain, where we could see their faces as they traveled on the roller coaster.

Actually, this must be something that we see of all the couples. I want to see Mary Lou Retton going crazy on a roller coaster!

DeMarcus and Lindsay go the distance

5:36 PM:

If someone in this season of DWTS was chosen to play Hercules, could there be a better option than DeMarcus? He's torn, he's charming and he seems like a really good guy.

So it's no wonder that once he got to the dance floor, wearing a brown and orange Hercules outfit, he and Lindsay took a Charleston game to "A Star is Born" which was an absolute delight.

A moment that shone brighter was when DeMarcus picked up and turned Lindsay into a "human windmill," as Tom Bergeron explained.

What is particularly impressive is how they managed to get all of that out even though Lindsay broke right at the beginning of the number! Apparently, he managed to keep it by squeezing very tight toes.

One of the things that DeMarcus has been canceled is his lack of finesse to use power. Ironically, when it came to playing Hercules, he was softer and more precise than ever.

The pair scored an impressive 26 of 30, one of their highest scores of the season!

Juan Pablo plays Gastón with a hilarious perfection

5:24 p.m.

According to Juan Pablo, he has always wanted to play Gastón, and he certainly accepted the challenge with pleasure.

The beautiful star embodied the arrogant, pig-headed and vain. Beauty and the Beast Antagonistic with a charm and humor that fit perfectly with the character.

Cheryl and Juan Pablo dominated the dance floor (with Juan Pablo really stealing the spotlight for most of the routine) for his Viennese waltz set in the famed song "Gaston".

Everything, from the actor's ponytail to his smile and his burgundy coat, was perfect, and the dance won a huge amount of love from all the judges.

For the second time this season, the pair found themselves at the top of the leaderboard with a score of 29 out of 30, tied with Alexis and Alan.

Wow, the first two couples of the night have really set the bar very high. I can not wait to see how everyone else tries to eliminate it.

Alex and Alan take Pocahontas & # 39;

5:11 p.m.

To prepare for Disney Night, Alexis and Alan headed to Disneyland for a fun research trip (and apparently a date with a thin veil), which seemed like a lot of fun.

Also, they're really starting to push the show angle of Alexis and Alan's association, huh? I mean, uncomfortably addressing it directly in the pre-recorded package was pretty blatant.

However, it seems that its chemistry (romantic or not) is paying off. While performing your Foxtrot, set to "Just Around the Riverbend" of Pocahontas, The couple achieved a beautiful routine that judge Bruno Tonioli said seemed "two hearts beating like one."

Carrie Ann had equal praise, calling it her best dance of the season.

The first couple that shows up each week often seems to be judged harder than the couples at the end of the episode, but Alexis and Alan managed to do their magic to get the 10 from Carrie Ann and Bruno in a high season of 29 out of 30.

Also, it's true that it's a bit adorable to see Alexis and Alan blushed by the questions about romance. Maybe that could help them bring some much needed vows?

A very disney introduction

5:03 p.m.

If you had not realized it was Disney Night on Dancing with the starBefore tuning in, it became very evident in a few moments, due to the score of the Mickey Mouse images that adorned each surface during the dazzling program's opening number.

In addition, Mickey took center stage while Jordan Fisher danced and sang with the cast of DWTS: Juniors It was a pretty clear indicator.

Personally, I think it would be fun if they had people in giant suits of Donald and Daisy Duck in the background of all the episodes, Disney-themed or otherwise.

Disney Night Dance Predictions

5:00 PM:

Every season, the stars and professionals go out of their way to create some of the most exciting shows of the season.

(In addition, a couple always seems to be stuck dancing with CGI characters and it's disappointing. My bet is Joe and Jenna, who are dancing to the "Zero" of the next Ralph breaks the internet, they will be charged with that task. But maybe it's the best, since Joe and Ralph seem to have the same ability to dance.

As for the dances, we have great hopes for:

-Juan Pablo and Cheryl dancing a Viennese waltz to "Gaston" Beauty and the Beast (because Juan Pablo could do for a handsome Gaston)

-DeMarcus & Lindsay dancing a Charleston to "A Star is Born" from Hercules (again, because DeMarcus could be an impressive Hercules)

-Milo and Witney dance a fast step for the jazzy "Incredits 2" from the editing credits until The Incredibles 2. If there is a star this year that could take an incredible fast step, it's Milo.

As for the rest (especially Alexis and Alan), there is always the possibility that they can achieve something special.

Looking back on week 4

4:58 p.m.

Before the Disney night begins and the nine remaining couples play on the dance floor, let's look at how the elimination was shaken last week.

Despite some performances of "Grocery Store Joe" Amabile and Bobby Bones, the two stars that were in danger were Evanna Lynch and Tinashe, two of the best dancers of the entire competition.

Ultimately, it was the dancer "2 On" and his partner, the first professional Brandon Armstrong, who got the ax. The elimination occurred after she and Armstrong delivered a tango that earned them a score of 26 out of 30, which earned them second place in the leaderboard. However, the judges' scores were not enough to compensate for the apparent lack of votes from the spectators.

Dancing with the stars It airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET / PT on ABC. Meanwhile, check out the advice Bruno Tonioli has for the remaining participants here, and see what happened when ET crashed Milo and Witney's rehearsal last week in the video below!
