– Follow all my reviews on this link.

– You can check out my 36 best matches in the SEPTEMBER list on this link.

– Csonka's Impact Bound for Glory 2018 Takeaways.

– Csonka: 8 female talents I want in impact wrestling.

– Csonka: 8 Male Talents I Want In Impact Wrestling.

– The show opens with a nicely finished "pick up" video package.

Pentagon & Fenix vs Willie Mack & Rich Swann: Fenix and Swann to begin. They unlock, work in counters and work in a stand. They pick up the pace, work in several counters and a distance again. Pentagon and Mack enter. The circles, the Pentagon speak dirt and Mack are entertained by this. Pentagon takes his glove, super kick of Fenix and then Swann when it breaks down and all four are down. The Pentagon is now in Mack Park, with its forearms, but Mack hits a bicycle park and goes into a super kick. He turns off a RANA, which causes him and Swann to work double teams. Fenix flies in, captured by Mack and Mack and Swann runs wild and the cover becomes 2. The Luchas fight back with kicks, double cutters of Fenix, Pentagon loops. They isolate Swann, and the Pentagon hits a double double stump to Swann's ass; thin well. They work over Mack with double layers and the Pentagon covers for 2. Swann pulls Fenix to the floor. The Pentagon is working on a Mack field park, but Mack hits the tip. Mack comes with a top on the Pentagon. Swann hits a Phoenix splash on the lugs on the floor. Fenix restores and dries out Swann & Mack with a springboard tornillo. Post pause, and Mack is working over Fenix. They act strike, Fenix burns up, but Mack takes him down. Mack hits a supermann punch, but Fenix burns back with his kick and head upward. Swann cut him off and the Pentagon took out Swann. Reverse RANA of Fenix. The double stump / fear factor combination on the apron kills Swann. Lucha beat a series of double layers and ended Mack. Pentagon & Fenix defeated Willie Mack & Rich Swann @ 15:45 via pin [***½] This was a very good and fun opening series, worked mostly in a lucha sprint style. I love a show that starts with so good energy.

– Post battle, LAX comes and says they were impressed. LAX wonder who's next to them and the titles. They've hit everyone so far, and then thought who is better than "familia" and they want to give their brothers a shot on the titles. They will do it by homecoming. The airline accepts. Yes please.

– Ultimate X qualifying matches start next week.

– We get a video pack with Cage and prepare his tile on Homecoming.

"Konnan is with LAX and is not happy to do the fight with the closes. Konnan says he has been there before and it killed Juvi & Rey's relationship. It happened to OGz. Pentagon and Fenix will be the best and they will then do everything they can to make it happen. Konnan says he must go and take care of the business now.

Jordynne Grace vs. Katarina: Katarina tries to avoid Grace's power to begin, but Grace limits her quickly. Katarina pulls her hair, starts by Katarina and Grace drops her with a shoulder bag and comes with a spinebuster for 2. Katarina battles the beard, raises her eyes and hits a big booty for 2. Katarina throws her out in the ropes and follows strikes. Grace burns back, but Katarina takes her down and covers for 1. Katarina is locked on a body bag, Grace escapes and whips Katarina to buckle. Jawbreaker of Katarina and it becomes 2nd Grace counts a head scissors, and Katarina hits a deep influence DDT of the ropes for 2. Grace finally hit, Katarina puts and accompanies running knees and elbows. The father the bomb connects. The berry cram follows and Katarina cranes. Jordynne Grace defeated Katarina @ 6:12 pm via submission [*½] Unfortunately this was not very good. It went way too long, Katarina got too much in and the middle party was extremely clunky. Grace really needs to run through opponents with little effort to really get their power persona over better, not working competitive matches.

– KM sorry Bahh for not getting them a title shot. They go to beat the city and make money. "7 minutes later" they have lost all their money. Scarlett appears and says that they have a lot of competition to battle to impress her.

– GWN throwback is a recent Ultimate X game like Low Ki won.

– One of the refs meetings with Tessa, warns her that she just can not touch officials whenever she wants to. Tessa does not give a shit, but agrees.

"Dreamer is interviewed this evening's main event with Eli Drake. He drops "thousand years" for about 10 seconds and sparks Drake to try to be and not be rock. He says that Drake could have been the franchise here, but lost the title and became mediocre. People have called Dreamer fat for many years and try to end their career for as long, so get some new material. He's done when he says he's done.

Taya Valkrie vs. Ray Lyn: They unlock, Lyn counts and spotter Taya dancer. Taya comes with chops, but Lyn burns back and hits his knees. Missile dropkick follows for 2. Taya quickly cut it off, works her over the corner, and hit loading knees for 2. Lyn fighting off the road to Valhalla, but Taya counters and hit the curb. STF follows and Lightning Cranes. Taya Valkrie defeats Ray Lyn @ 2:55 via submission [NR] This was a nice extended squash that allowed Taya to introduce a new weapon, but it was about the mail campaign and the building of Tessa vs Taya at Homecoming, which was well done.

– Post match, Tessa arrives and attacks Taya. Taya puts out the ref and chokes him out. Several officials arrive, Dutt & D & # 39; Amore also comes to try to stop her. Gail Kim hits the ring and breaks it up. Taya spear Tessa and Tessa runner.

– Johnny Impact discusses his upcoming title shot against Cage at Homecoming. Killer Kross interrupts and needs a moment with Johnny. Kross offers again his help, and basically says Impact tells him to take out Cage, he wants. Impact refuses to ask for help.

Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz vs. Chris Bey & Mike Sydal: Dez and Sydal start, they work a little fun and Sydal hits a dropkick. Wentz marks in and Wentz hits a cork screw high cross. Bey in and hit a RANA. Dez cut him off and The Rascalz runs wildly with ease. Stereo suicide dives follow and Dez pushes Wentz in the middle of Moonsault at Sydal for victory. Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz defeats Chris Bey & Mike Sydal @ 3:25 PM via pin [**] This was a solid and fun little debut tag for Rascalz. If ordered properly, they can be a big addition to the tag and the X division.

– Kiera is convinced that Su has no control over Allie. Despite all that happened, she still has Allie back and knows she can fight the darkness. Kiera is a cute girl who can not trade.

– Eddie Edwards is in a mental institution … Moose visits him, something Eddie did not do for moose. Moose has Eddie Barnas's book and says it's so crazy when Eddie left a lot. Moose says he's going to check in at Alisha for Eddie …

– Aro Lucha commercial time; allegedly coming in 2019.

– Sydal talks about information and third eye shit. Side says "the old man" would have been upset by all Southals last loss. Sydal says that this does not work and says they are going to face a shot at Ultimate X. Since then, Sydal thinks that's the way.

Eli Drake vs. Tommy Dreamer: They play the audience, unlock and Drake takes Dreamer down. Dreamer Surprises Now Drake with actual wrestling moves, takes control. Dreamer is now in chops, mounted streak and bits of Drake. The cut follows and drake powder and is tented … Impact officials start this again as a no DQ match. Post pause and they are brawling on the ramp. Dreamer returns with hardcore toys and starts attacking Drake. Dreamer hits him with a donut box and then eats some. Dreamer puts the ring on his steps and hammers it. Dreamer gets a stick and pretty much pushes it up Drakes ass. Drake fighting back and suplexes Dreamer in the ramp. Drake attacked with traffic cone, and comes with strikes back in the ring. Drake hits a tray-assisted neck switch for 2. Dreamer burns up and hits a clothesline, neck breaker and dusty elbows. Dreamer gets a chair and a trash can. He sets up the chair, and Drake does not have to hold him in. 2. Drake has the chair and flies the ropes with it, but Dreamer got a foot up to block. DDT follows for 2. Drake wedges a trash can in the corner, but Dreamer hits another DDT for 2. Drake low blows him, he slams until he can, and the sauce the train gets 2 … what? Drake wrap the chair around Dream's throat and hit it with a boat year and win. Eli Drake defeated Tommy Dreamer @ 12:05 via pin [*½] I know they are building a PPV match for Drake, probably against Abyss judging by the end-point, but this fight was not good, and not even the weapons could save it. Dreamer is not able to work in long-form singles main events, and while I appreciate that he puts the guys over it's bad just because it seemed as if Drake drew him through the last moments.

– Drake leads the backside and finds a gift. He freaked out of it and left.

NEXT WEEK: We get Ultimate X Qualifications.

– End scene.

Thank you for reading.

This week's episode of Impact Wrestling was at best average. I thought that opened was very good and lots of fun, plus it set up LAX vs. The Lucha Bros for PPV. On top of that, it led to drama with Konnan, as in his elderly age, more clearly and explained why he did not want the match. They also did a good job of continuing the Tessa vs Taya feeder. The Rascalz debut was solid and fun and there is a lot of potential there. Everything else felt either as a filler or was bad. On paper is homecoming design as a really pretty PPV.
