Toy Story 4 presents an intriguing newcomer to the toy box: Keanu Reeves. According to the co-star of the franchise Tim Allen, who shared the tidbit on Wednesday The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
Allen, who plays space warden Buzz Lightyear, was a cryptic about Reeves' moves, but hinted that it's a toy with an intense personality, which sounds appropriate to the star of John Wick, Speed Y Matrix.
"They will really surprise you with the toys they came up with," Allen said. "The characters came back, new guys that are great, Keanu Reeves has a big part."
Allen continued: "Actually, a little inside story [about Reeves]: Even he said: "He's a nice and wonderful boy", "This is too much like Buzz Lightyear". And his character has an advantage in that. And the guy said: "So we calmed him down a little bit," and they reminded me that his toy is so big. "
No matter the size of the character, the paper represents a great outlet for Reeves. Despite a long and illustrious career, he made his breakthrough in The river bank in 1986 – Reeves never had a voice role in a large studio animated film.
Thursday was the 23rd anniversary of the release of History of the toy, the first animated film by computer. The success of 1995 was also the first feature of Pixar Animation Studios. The Disney-owned studio will debut its 21st movie, Toy Story 4, on June 21, 2019.
