To give goodbye to the year, Cartagena managed as a party and brought into Metroconcert to great singers who succeeded in 2018.
The event's roster took the stage of Rubén Blades, Sebastián Yatra, Carlos Vives, Maluma, J Balvin and Poncho Zuleta, an event to close with a thriving year.
The only artist who was not Colombian by the guests of the show was the legend of the Rubén Blades sauce. The comments before the event came from the euphoria to know that the interpreter of love and control, who no longer gives concerts to the audience, is going to give a show on Heroica; Unfortunately, the concert opened at 9 am at night and with little public the Panamanian singer.
But opening the night with Blades, a renowned and recognized artist all over the world, was not the only blunder at night. The audience on fixed occasions talked about the bad organization and the logistics error.
"Rubén Blades is a music institution so they would take him out first, I was eager to see him more time and with more concert atmosphere," commented María Barrios Guerrero, assistant at Metroconcert.
After the presentation of Blades – and with more public – came to love the hearts of everyone present Sebastian Yatra's music. The 24-year-old artist sang with the audience songs like: I found you finally, There is no one else and he has no boyfriend, a song he played with Venezuelans Mau & Ricky.
Listen to Carlos Vives singing La Fantástica in Cartagena was hearing a hymn that made the audience vibrate. This song among other classics was in the samario show, but it was a moment when this interrupted his presentation to complain about the sound problems.
"What a shame for those who are in the background because I feel that this is not heard, the sound is bad, and I am sorry because this is not a concert of three pesos for this quality of production," Vives said in the middle of the presentation.
The most anticipated one
He finished with Carlos Vives, he arrived at the Maluma concert. The singer Paisa was ecstatic in the audience with songs that he began his musical career and his latest successes, but the audience was anxious and while the singer of Mala Mala sang, they heard cries asking him to come on stage J Balvin.
The euphoria, joy and feelings of the participants who owed something that forgot about the problems of sound and logistics, was what gave most of J Balvin, the Colombian artist most listened to in 2018.
The song Ella fascinated me, one of the classics of the singer Paisa, welcomed what he achieved with the audience: capture them and give them a show of international stature. Undoubtedly the most applauded of the Cartagena night.
Finally, at Metroconcert, the vallenato quota of maestro Poncho Zuleta came with his Mañanitas de invierno, which showed that Colombia has provided an undeniable musical talent that opens up in every room and genre.
