Carrie Underwood is managing her pregnancy like a professional, but admits that the second time is "more difficult".
The 35-year-old pregnant singer smiled on Wednesday at CMT 2018 Artists of the Year at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tennessee. ET met the singer of "Cry Pretty", who admitted that she was having different symptoms than when she was pregnant with her son, Isaiah.
"It's definitely different from the first time," Underwood confessed. "When they say that every pregnancy is different, it really is, just different symptoms, I feel like this is a bit more difficult for my body for some reason, but it's been really good."
The singer, who shone in a long-sleeved sequined dress from Tadashi Shoji with trimmed details, added: "I'm squeezing with the dresses I can squeeze."
Underwood also revealed that her 3-year-old son and her husband Mike Fisher are excited to be an older brother, but there is one thing he will not do.
"However, he says he will not change any diapers," Underwood shared. "I understand, maybe I can change my mind."
The couple, who announced that they were expecting a second bundle of joy in August, meanwhile, are preparing for the arrival of their baby.
"We have chosen a name, but we reserve it for ourselves at this time," he revealed. "We are preparing to move in. I have not bought anything yet, we still have some of the things, cradles and things of my son, but we will solve it, we are about to move, so I will start buying things once we are there. buy them and then move them. Underwood took the stage during the ceremony of the Artists of the Year of the CMT, where the show presented a list of women honorees.
