Just a few days after we were caught in a sequined blouse at the Royal Variety Performance, Meghan Markle went to London for a solo performance. On Wednesday, the Duchess of Sussex visited Hubb Community Kitchen to see how the funds raised by the Together: Our community cookbook – which launched in September – is making a difference. For the occasion, she wore a preppy burgundy Club Monaco dress with a Peter Pan collar, and combined it with a matching coat, black stockings and black Givenchy boots.
Perhaps, as expected, Meghan's outfit immediately reminded us of a burgundy dress that Kate Middleton wore at the same time last year, while pregnant with Prince Louis. Could the Duchess of Sussex, who is currently pregnant with her first child, be receiving maternity style advice from her real sister-in-law? Certainly we hope so. Keep reading to see up close how Kate and Meghan designed their burgundy dresses.
