Bre Payton: The author died after H1N1 and meningitis

(CNN) – Breedton, commentator and editor of the Federalist, died Friday in San Diego after a sudden illness, according to the online conservative magazine. He was 26 years old.

Payton quickly became a prominent commentator for conservative media after joining the federalists in April 2015, said a death sentence on the site, which regularly looks at Fox News, Fox Business Channel and One America News Network, or OANN.

"Breeds light the lives of everyone around them," he said. "She was happy, hard-working and compassionate, leaving her friends and colleagues for whom she just brought sweet and light."

Payton was found "unknowingly and barely breathing" on Thursday, according to a page of shared by Twitter by the federal editor, Ben Domenech.

After a CT scan and a comprehensive test, she was diagnosed with H1N1 influenza and meningitis.

Payton's father lived with her in the hospital, "but her condition worsened and got worse," said the CaringBridge publication.
