Josh Davis – The 20-year-old Tennessee native is a coach at the local YCMA when he is not singing. He began to sing in the church and explains that his city is so small that there are more churches than restaurants. Josh tells the story of when he was in a 3-man band of boys, which "was supposed to be the only direction of Christian music." But, the band fell apart. He performs "Too Good At Goodbyes" by Sam Smith. – Chair rotates (in order) Kelly, J. Hud – He chooses Team kelly.
LISA RAMEY – She is a cabaret singer in New York City, who began singing at the age of nine. Lisa reveals how she was once homeless until her cabaret group asked her to be his first wife. She performs an interpretation of "Beautiful Trauma" by Pink. – Chair rotates: Any.
KATRINA CAIN – The native of Texas has an incredible story. She sings in a band with her husband named Tom Cat. – An electro-pop sound, which has many synth elements. But, she makes a living doing radio jingles, and even makes a lot of country, despite not singing that genre. She performs "Rihannon" for Fleetwood Mack, while playing the keyboard. Katrina should easily have been a four-seat turn, but Kelly's team is already full. Chair rotates: J. Hud, Blake – She chooses Team Blake.
MATT JOHNSON – The native of Virginia, 26, works in a full-time warehouse and plays in local concerts in the city, but finally wants to pursue his dreams to sing on the big stage. She explains how she had to move home and put a lot on hold to care for her mother after she was diagnosed with cancer. He also reveals that he has tested for The Voice EVERY season. He performs "Never too much" for Luther vandross And it kills it with its deep reach. – Chair rotates: J. Hud. – Team J. Hud.
9 PM ET – The show moves towards The Battles!
This is how it works: the coaches will be dedicated to the development of their team of artists, they will advise and share the secrets of their success together with the help of their famous advisers. During the battle rounds, the coaches will face two of their own team members to sing the same song together in front of the studio audience. After the vocal battle, the coach must choose which of his singers will advance to the next round of the competition, while the losing artist is available to be stolen by another coach. Each coach has two robberies during the battle rounds.
KELLY TEAM: SANDYREDD Vs. CODY RAY RAYMOND – The Kelly team starts the battle round. But first, she introduces her adviser – Thomas Rhett! She chooses "Cry To Me" for Solomon burke, of the movie Dirty Dancing. Both were equally good, with a good performance, but in the end, Kelly went with his instinct.
BLAKE TEAM: MICHAEL LEE vs. JOEY GREEN – he brings Keith Urban as your counselor. The two Blake team members really know each other from the Texas country music scene. Their friendship goes back eight years. Joey has a more traditional country singer with a wide range, while Michael has a deep and husky blues voice.
TEAM J. HUD: PATRIQUE FORTSON Vs. Colton smith – Jennifer introduces her advisor. Halsey! J. Hud explains how the two singers he chose have similar voices and rank, but both have different specialties. Halsey describes Patrique's voice as "beautiful, loving, romantic and moving". Meanwhile, he adds that Colton has a more "theatrical" feeling, dramatic in his voice. They performed an emotional version of "God Gave Me You" by Blake Shelton. But, they took away the country sound and made it more of a slow song / ballad.
