Feel your eyes on the trippy poster "Elseworlds"!
Tuesday morning, ArrowStephen Amell unveiled the poster of the much-anticipated three-night Arrowverse crossover this year, and it's strange. The promotional art shows Grant Gustin, who plays Flash, dressed as Green Arrow and Amell as Scarlett Speedster, but curiously is not Supergirl, and carries the tag line "Destiny will be rewritten."

This new poster only adds to the questions we had about "Elseworlds" after Amell shared several intriguing photos behind the scenes, which included: Tyler Hoechlin in a black Superman suit, Amell and Gustin disguised as motorcyclists, and Amell back in Your green arrow costume. Given the title "Elseworlds" and all these disconcerting images, some playful multiversal shenanigans are clearly happening, which feel very much in line with what Arrow Driver Beth Schwartz recently told EW about the crossover tone.
"This one does not feel as dark as last season," Schwartz said on Sunday. "Obviously there were Nazis last season, I definitely think there's a lot more fun at the crossroads this year."
As previously reported, this year's crossing will include The flash, ArrowY Supergirl, but no Legends of tomorrow. In addition, you will not only see Green Arrow and Flash meet Superman for the first time, but also introduce Batwoman (Ruby Rose) and Lois Lane (GrimmIt's Elizabeth Tulloch) in the Arrowverse. Jeremy Davies is ready to play an Arkham Asylum document, and Designated survivorMonica Garrett will appear as the Monitor.
"Elseworlds" begins on Sunday, December 9, with The flash At 8 pm.; continues on Monday, December 10, at 8 p.m. with Arrow; and concludes the following night at 8 p.m. with Supergirl.
