Pregnancy certainly can not slow Amy Schumer down.
Before the 37-year-old actress and comedian revealed she was pregnant with her and her first child Chris Fischer on Instagram on Monday (in a post shared by her friend Jessica Yelling from News Not Noise), she had been posting about many activities Recent and adventures, from surfing the body to taking boxing classes.
She was even detained while protesting the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh in Washington, DC, earlier this month. Schumer, who apparently prefers to stay active as future mom Meghan Markle (who is on a current tour of Australia with Prince Harry), even made a joke about the comparison in a statement to L.A. Times.
"I hope to be able to compete with Markle every step of the way," Schumer said.

Stop while protesting
Earlier this month, Schumer was arrested while protesting the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh in Washington, D.C.
In a video shared on Twitter, the actress could be heard telling a police officer that she wanted to be arrested.
"Do you want to be arrested?" A police officer asked her and another woman, while pointing to a larger group that was singing with the police surrounding them.
"Yes," he said while wearing a green shirt with buttons saying on the back, "This day, then, #ERA."

Gaining strength through boxing
Schumer has also been strengthening his strength with intense boxing exercises after treating a herniated disc and other back and hip problems.

"About 7 months ago I was in an unbearable back and hip pain," he wrote on Instagram. "Because of the old volleyball and surf injuries, I have a herniated disc, a bulging disc and a labral tear in my hip."

"These great people took care of me until I regained my health and they made me stronger than ever," he wrote. "I want to thank [trainer Tim DiFrancesco] @tdathletesedge for pushing me to recovery beyond what I thought possible … [Steven Frank] @stevenfrankboxing had been my boxing coach for 7 years. "
"Tim, Steve and I laughed and cried together (Ok, Steve did not cry) when I had great advances doing things that I thought I could never do again," he said.

Schumer shared a video of herself surfing while on the beach in early September. The actress wore an orange one-piece swimsuit.
In the video, Schumer plunges headlong into the water while catching a wave.
"Cut because my swimsuit fell off!", Wrote in the title.
Hilariously Photobombing engagement photo of a couple
Last week, Schumer and Fischer took photos of another couple's engagement photos as they strolled through Central Park.
The fiancee, Jillian Georgio, did not seem to mind since she shared the photo with enthusiasm on her Instagram.
"A preview of the engagement session, a special greeting to @amyschumer and her husband Chris for making it so much fun today!" Georgio wrote in the post.
The couples made similar positions, with Hayes looking fondly at Georgio, and Schumer and Fischer, both dressed in sweatshirts, hugged as they looked at the camera.

Schumer and Fischer were married at a private ceremony in Malibu, California, in February.
The couple exchanged vows with about 80 people, including Jennifer Aniston, Jake Gyllenhaal, Jennifer Lawrence, Chelsea Handler, Larry David and David Spade.
Hours after sharing the happy news, Schumer addressed the growing wave of speculation as to why she and Fischer had decided to walk down the aisle after a few months of dating.
Bluntly, he wrote on social media: "No, I'm not pregnant."
