Amy Schumer is taking some time off at the doctor's request.
The 37-year-old comedian is currently pregnant with her first child with her husband Chris Fischer and revealed last week that she has been battling hyperemesis gravidarum or extreme morning sickness. On Monday, she showed her nude baby on Instagram, and said she is canceling three of her upcoming tour dates.
"Thanks to Newark and Pittsburgh, I am so happy to feel better and I can continue my journey … However, the doctors order that they not travel across the country, so I regret that Seattle, Phoenix and Oakland need it to be postponed" , wrote. "I promise to go see them and arrange the date very soon … The rest of the tour will continue as planned! Happy Thanksgiving!"
Schumer previously canceled his November 15 tour date in Dallas, Texas, after revealing that she had been hospitalized for hyperemesis gravidarum.
"Texas, I'm so sorry," he wrote on Instagram. "I've been waiting for these presentations, I have to reschedule, I'm in the hospital, I'm fine, baby well, but everyone who says the second trimester is better does not tell the whole story, sicker this quarter."
"I have hyperemesis and it blows," he continued. "I'm very lucky to be pregnant, but this is nonsense **! I send a lot of love to the doctors and nurses who take care of me and [my dog] Tati! They are great as hell! And I'm really sorry, Texas, and I'll be there as soon as I'm better. "
However, a day later, he seemed to feel much better and announced on Instagram that he would continue with his weekend programs as planned.
