One of the most talked about events at Arrowverse has been the casting of Ruby Rose as Kathy Kane, better known as Batwoman.
Since it was first announced in August, we've managed to catch a glimpse of the character before his scheduled debut on this year's Arrowverse crossover. Elseworlds. Now, The CW has given us a (very brief) clip of Batwoman in action.
While the promotion begins with its standard images of Gotham City, including Arkham Asylum and the bat signal with Batwoman on top of a building, in a short time we see it up close and full of that carefree personality.
"That's not Batman," says Grant Gustin, who normally plays The Flash, but will appear as an Arrow during reality-enhancing events. Elseworlds. Similarly, Stephen Amell will put on the red socks and the superpowers of The Scarlet Speedster.
At first, there is a voiceover that mocks Batman as an "urban legend". This will probably be a great aspect of the role that Batman will play in the events of The other worlds even though it will not really make an appearance.
In this particular narrative, Batman left Gotham City three years earlier, and his prolonged absence has caused some beginnings to question his existence in the first place. Now, in the decaying ghost town that Gotham has become, Batwoman seems ready to take her place.
In addition, The CW released a lot of photos of this year's annual crossover. You can see some of the best below.
We will see much more of Batwoman when the Elseworlds The three-night event begins on Sunday, December 9 at The CW. And when he gets his own solo series sometime in 2019.
