adminNovember 14, 2018

Survivor Series is one of the most anticipated shows of the year, as it is announced as the only night in which Raw and SmackDown Live face each other. This year will follow the same format, and there are some interesting matches to wait for the champions of the brands that fight in the competition and, of course, our traditional clashes of the Survivor 5-in-5 series. What is particularly interesting this year is how drastically the card changed to just five days of the show. Keep reading to find out exactly what happened.

Survivor Series will start with a start show at 5 p.m. ET before the main card begins two hours later at 7 p.m. CBS Sports will preview Survivor Series throughout the week, so be sure to stay with us.

Matches of 2018 WWE Survivor Series

Heavyweight championsBrock Lesnar (Raw, Universal) vs. Daniel Bryan (SmackDown, WWE): In what was a rather surprising and confusing move, Lesnar recaptured the universal title when he defeated Braun Strowman for the vacant championship in the Crown Jewel event. Even more shocking, Styles dropped the WWE title on Tuesday night, five days before the show, to Bryan after defeating Bryan in a title fight at Crown Jewel. WWE apparently decided that a repeat of last year's exciting Lesnar-Styles match was not going to be at this time … maybe they're saving it for WrestleMania 35?

Women's Champions – Ronda Rousey (Raw) vs. Charlotte Flair (SmackDown): In what was clearly seen as the main event of Survivor Series, Rousey and Becky Lynch had a tremendous war of words in the last two weeks that culminated Monday night in Lynch tying Rousey on the stage of Dis-Arm-Her during Raw. Unfortunately, Lynch broke his face and suffered a concussion in the ring moments later, and on SmackDown on Tuesday, he chose Flair as his replacement for the game. Many believed that this would be the first WrestleMania women's main event. That could be the case, but it will not be the first time that Rousey and Flair have confronted each other. That will be Sunday.

Survivor Series Elimination Match: Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Finn Balor and Bobby Lashley (Raw) against The Miz, Shane McMahon, Samoa Joe, Rey Mysterio and Jeff Hardy (SmackDown): The teams are now ready for the game that, more or less, is telling the story once again of the McMahon dueling brothers. Stephanie McMahon wants retribution against her brother Shane for her actions by claiming the World Cup at Crown Jewel, and a victory by the Raw team on Sunday would apparently satisfy the commissioner on Monday night enough. There was an entertaining dynamic in which Bryan and Miz coexisted as captains, but that was changed at the last moment.

Survivor Series Women's Elimination Match: Natalya, Mickie James, Nia Jax, Tamina Snuka and Ruby Riott (Raw) against Carmella, Naomi, Asuka, Sonya Deville and TBA (SmackDown): The SmackDown women's team was compiled in one night, while the women's team of Raw and Captain Bliss took a little longer, as she had Sasha Banks and Bayley fight for the final position to name Riott as the fifth member. However, the SmackDown women's team sent the first message, as Lynch led the female invasion of the blue mark in the Raw edition at home on Monday night. There must be a replacement for Flair here.

Midcard Champions: Seth Rollins (Raw, IC) against Shinsuke Nakamura (SmackDown, USA): This game was officially done silently on an episode of SmackDown Live last week, and has the potential to be a tremendous fight. Given the immense popularity of Rollins, the enmity crossed could end up doing wonders with this character of Nakamura who has been circling recently.

Tag Team Champions – AOP (Raw) against The Bar (SmackDown): This is an interesting clash of high-heels championship teams in Survivor Series. After retaining the Crown Jewel titles, we knew that Cesaro and Sheamus would be representing SmackDown in the program. The question about who would be the Raw champions they would face was answered last Monday on Raw when AOP defeated Seth Rollins, who did not have the assistance of the former brothers of the Dean Ambrose Shield in the 2-in-1 issue. for the titles.

Tag Team Survivor Series Elimination Match: Bobby Roode and Chad Gable, The Ascension, Fight House Party, B-Team and The Revival (Raw) vs. The Usos, New Day, Good Brothers, SAnitY and The Colons (SmackDown): The Raw team finished in the first leg on Monday night with Roode & Gable earning the right to be the team captain after winning a real battle. The SmackDown team was completed on Tuesday night. The Usos defeated New Day on SmackDown Live last week to become the captains of the blue brand, and they immediately chose New Day as team members as a token of respect.

WWE Cruiserweight Championship – Buddy Murphy (c) against Mustafa Ali: Ali could not dethrone his friend Cedric Alexander when he was champion, so now the Chicago native will try to take the titles from Murphy. These two have already had excellent matches with each other this year, so this in Los Angeles should also be a treat for fans, since 205 Live has its rare PPV slot.
